Which sealer is right for your surface?

The following table will help you choose the perfect sealer.

Choosing the correct product to seal a particular type of stone, tile, paving or cladding can be daunting. Unique molecular technology makes Dry-Treat sealers extremely versatile - so they can be used to seal a very wide variety of porous surfaces. There are some exceptions though, depending on the environment - for eg sandstone paving around a salt water pool requires different protection to sandstone paving on a patio, due to the structural damage which salt can cause to softer, more porous surfaces.

Also, the sealer needs to fullfill your needs - you probably want something invisible which will keep the look of your stone or tile or paving, but perhaps you would like to enhance the colour as well as seal it.

ACID resistance for highly polished limestone, marble and travertine Limestone, marble and travertine all have a large calcite content, and they are immediately damaged on contact with acids, including wine, cola and lemon juice.

1 coat ACID-PROOF for Polished Surfaces - a semi topical sealer for acid resistance and stain protection.
