Typical application: Oxy-Klenza™ is a powerful alkaline cleaner (typically pH 9-11) for tough dried-in stains and soiling, including grease, mold, algae and leaf marks. It is safe for use on natural stone, tile, masonry, concrete, grout, vinyl and unfinished wood.
Benefits: Oxy-Klenza™ is a powder concentrate that goes further and is safer to transport / store. It also disinfects and breaks down odors. Oxy-Klenza™ is biodegradable – decomposing into oxygen, water and natural salts.
Application rate: Typical usage rate of 2/3 of a standard cup Oxy-Klenza™ per 100 sq.ft. (10 sq.m.), depending on surface conditions.
How to use:
Method One:
- TEST PRODUCT ON A SMALL AREA BEFORE FULL APPLICATION.
- If satisfied with test results; for heavy cleaning prepare product by stirring 2/3 of a standard cup of Oxy-Klenza™ into a plastic bucket filled with 2 ½ Gallons (10 litres) of clean warm water until it dissolves.
- For light cleaning prepare product by stirring 1/3 of a standard cup of Oxy-Klenza™ into a plastic bucket filled with 2 ½ Gallons (10 litres) of clean warm water until it dissolves.
- Apply solution generously with a mop or plastic watering can and leave for 5 to 15 minutes. Do not allow solution to dry on surface (large areas can be cleaned in sections). Use a mop or sponge to clean the surface. Heavily soiled areas should be gently scrubbed with a soft brush.
- Typical usage rate of 2/3 standard cup Oxy-Klenza™ per 200 sq.ft. (20 sq.m.), depending on surface conditions.
- Repeat application if required.
- Rinse surface thoroughly with clean water.
Method Two:
- TEST PRODUCT ON A SMALL AREA BEFORE FULL APPLICATION.
- If satisfied with test results prepare surface for full application by sweeping or vacuuming all loose dust and dirt from the surface.
- Thoroughly wet the surface with water. Large areas should be cleaned in sections.
- Lightly sprinkle Oxy-Klenza™ onto the wet surface and leave for 5 to 15 minutes. Do not allow solution to dry on surface. Use a mop or sponge to clean the surface. Heavily soiled areas should be gently scrubbed with a soft brush. Excess powder will dissolve by scrubbing.
- Typical usage rate of one cup Oxy-Klenza™ per 100 sq.ft. (10 sq.m.), depending on surface conditions.
- Repeat application if required.
- Rinse surface thoroughly with clean water.
Advanced tips:
- Oxy-Klenza™ can be mixed into a paste with a little water and used to make a poultice to remove deep stains from countertops. Refer to the Poultice Cleaning Method sheet for details.
- Oxy-Klenza™ can be used to disinfect artifical turf.

Precautions:
- Do not take internally.
- Apply when surface temperature is between 40 – 95 °F (5 – 35 °C).
- Protect surrounding areas and clothing from product contact. Avoid contact with metals.
- Keep away from plants, water and soil.
- Once mixed, solution should NOT be left in a sealed container. It will continue to give off oxygen and the container may rupture and cause injury.
- Dispose of all unused solution after 4 hours by pouring into a drain or toilet.
- Wear suitable solvent resistant gloves, protective clothing and safety goggles during application.
- Wash hands thoroughly after applying.
Storage: Keep container tightly sealed in a cool, dry and well ventilated place.
Safety directions: DO NOT smoke. Avoid sources of ignition. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Avoid breathing vapor or spray mist.
First Aid: If swallowed, contact a physician. DO NOT induce vomiting. If skin contact occurs remove contaminated clothing and wash skin thoroughly. If irritation persists, contact a physician. If in eyes, hold open, flood with water for at least 15 minutes and contact a physician. If breathed vapors or mist relocate to fresh air. If symptoms persist contact a physician.
Accidents: Spillage – take up mechanically.
