PROJECT OVERVIEW

Coral Stone is one of the most popular outdoor surfacing materials in Florida. Its naturally cool surface temperature makes it comfortable for barefoot traffic, even during the hottest summer months. Formed from ancient marine deposits, Coral Stone also offers a unique aesthetic that brings natural beauty and character to outdoor living spaces. 

While prized for its appearance, Coral Stone’s light color can make it susceptible to staining and discoloration from rain, pollen, tannins, and other environmental contaminants. Homeowners often find themselves resealing their stone every year to maintain its appearance. A high-performance sealing solution was needed to protect the stone while reducing ongoing maintenance.

• Preserve the natural appearance of the stone without altering its color. 

• Maintain the manufacturer’s Dynamic Coefficient of Friction (DCOF) rating and avoid creating a slippery surface. 
• Provide long-lasting protection, eliminating the need for reapplication every 6 to 12 months, as is common with many retail-grade sealers. 
• Ensure installation is completed by a trained professional who understands proper stone-sealing techniques and follows manufacturer guidelines.

Premium Impregnating Sealer from Stain-Proof® by Dry-Treat® was selected to preserve the beauty and performance of the new stone decking for years to come. Unlike traditional sealers that require frequent maintenance and reapplication, Premium Impregnating Sealer provides deep, permanent protection that helps keep the stone looking newer for longer. 

The accredited applicator was able to deliver a solution that met the homeowner’s requirements for appearance, slip resistance, and long-term durability.
